- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with PoleZero, West Chester, OH for the depot capability establishment for the Very/Ultra High Frequency (V/UHF) Radio Audio Interface Units (AIU) and supporting compnents (V/UHF Mounting Tray and Low Noise Amplifier) installed on the P-8A Aircraft. This will include the manufacture and installation of all test equipment, associated tooling, fixtures, testing, training, technical data, provisioning data, and engineering technical support in order to establish an organic depot maintenance facility to support the Ultra High Frequency Radio Audio Interface Units at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in North Island, CA. This effort also includes a Depot Assessment which is being synopsized under PSC code B544 and NAICS code 541990 under Solicitation number N68335-15-G-0001. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to issue a sole source contract to PoleZero because this firm is considered the only responsible source capable to perform this effort. The Government does not own technical data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Responses should reference N68335-15-G-0001A.
