- Description
- This is a requirement for the remanufacture of the T-38 Electro-Mechanical Linear Actuator. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the T-38 Electro-Mechanical Linear Actuator. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period will be one year with four one-year options. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Remanufacture NSN 1680-00-857-6212RK, P/N LA12-13-Applicable to T-38 aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 50 each; Option I Year Quantity, 50 each; Option II Year Quantity, 50 each; Option III Year Quantity, 50 each; Option IV Year Quantity, 50 each. Item 0002; Data IAW DD1423s Item 0003; Over and Above Work. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 10 each per month after receipt of order and repairables. APPROVED SOURCE is Prototype Engineering, Gulf Aerospace, Texas Aerospace, Airtronics, Thomas Instrument and Duotech. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 23 Jan 2015. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
