FOR ANY INFORMATION CONTACT: FMS Engineer Mark Conrad (443-395-7013, mark.g.conrad.civ@mail.mil) Sources sought for AN/TPX-58 Air Defense Interrogator Patriot Installation Kits. US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking sources able to provide quantity two (2) Air Defense Interrogators (ADI) - AN/TPX-58 installations kits for Patriot. The items are for a Foreign Military Sales case. The ADI is an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system used to make the initial classification of all targets and to perform re-classification of targets when their identities must be re-confirmed as a result of positional changes or flight path cross-overs. The proposed source is Raytheon Company, 6260 Guardian Gateway, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Raytheon is the original developer and the only known source that produces the AN/TPX-58 installation kit, which are Non-Developmental Items (NDI), and possesses the level III technical data package for the ADI. The Government does not possess level III technical data package (TDP) for the ADI or installation kit. Answering this Market Survey The response should be an assessment of the contractor's ability to procure all the equipment, to include estimated delivery time. Proposed items from other than Raytheon must have documentation supporting its qualification for installation for use in Patriot firing units, and form/fit/functional compatibility with the Raytheon item. No costing or pricing is required at this time. An email response to the POC is sufficient. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The Government may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. All responses to this market survey must be received 19 December 2014 at 4:00 PM CST. Please include the announcement number in your e-mail.
