- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on an other than full and open competition basis to Amherst Systems, Inc., a Subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corporation. The contract will provide services that will include hardware and software maintenance, repair, spare parts and training support for the Advanced Multiple Emitter Simulators (AMES), e.g. AMES II, MicroAMES, PicoAMES, Phase DF Simulation Unit (PDSU), flAMES, MicroAMES PLUS, and AMES III for the Navy and its Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. It is anticipated that the majority of this effort will be performed at the NAWCWD Point Mugu, CA. The Government contemplates a contract with an ordering period of five years, and anticipates award approximately in last quarter of FY 15. The total level of effort is approximately 27,155 hours. The contract will include one CLIN for maintenance, repair, spare parts and training with a unit of issue of hours, one CLIN for materials (each), one CLIN for travel (lot) and one CLIN for CDRLs (lot). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. The written response shall reference N68936-14-R-0151 and clearly show the firms capability, without causing programmatic hardship, duplication of cost, or compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the products and services. Written responses shall be submitted by email to Corrine.gottshall@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254300D (Corrine Gottshall), NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV, 429 E. Bowen Rd. Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about January 2015.
