- Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to modify the current single-source contract with ITStrategy. ITStrategy provides FTI Program Management Support, Non-FTI Program Management Support, Acquisition Support, and Business Management support to the FAA Communications, Information, and Network Programs group, formerly Telecommunications Services Group (TSG) under Contract No. DTFAWA-10-C-00038. The services provided under this contract are essential to the continued efficient and effective technical and contract oversight of key FAA programs and contracts including FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI), Data Communications Integration Services (DCIS), and Alaskan Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure (ASTI), among others. This contract expires on 14 March 2015 and FAA is conducting a competitive procurement under the eFAST Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) to replace the current vehicle. There is a critical need to continuously maintain the current services while the competitive procurement is conducted, a new follow-on contract is awarded, and transition is completed. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single-source contact modification to ITStrategy to extend Contract No. DTFAWA-10-C-00038 for a base period of three (3) months with three (3) one-month options and to increase the contract ceiling. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with submissions will be solely at the interested party ™s expense. Further, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. Responses to this announcement must be submitted not later than 10:00 A.M. local time on 16 December 2014. Responses, including attachments, must be submitted electronically, as a MS Word file, to the following email address: dana.d.brooks@faa.gov. All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead. No type font less than 12 point may be used.
