- NASA/GRC has a requirement for additional work to be added to an existing purchase order NNC14QA71P. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the services from Pathfinder Digital, because the additional work is to be completed on equipment that is currently being built by Pathfinder Digital at their facility. No other vendor has access to the equipment being built pursuant to purchase order NNC14QA71P. In addition, the existing equipment is proprietary to Pathfinder Digital. Therefore, only Pathfinder Digital is capable of fulfilling this requirement for additional work. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 AND 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 12/15/2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
