Description

Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 3, Network Contracting Office 3 (10N3NCO) is currently conducting a market survey for firms that provide on-site maintenance service for the following Laboratory Equipment. -Two (2) Leica Cryostats "Model #: CM1850 and Serial #: 4461 "Model #: CM1850 and Serial #: 1574 -Four (4) Leica Microtome "Model #: RM2025 and Serial #: 13760549 "Model #: RM2025 and Serial #: 13770549 "Model #: HM325 and Serial #: 16528 "Model #: 820 and Serial #: 53647 -Two (2)Miles Tissue Tek Embedding Center "Model #: TISSUETEX and Serial #: 873683 "Model #: TISSUETEX and Serial #: 902429 -Two (2)VIP Tissue Processor "Model #: E300 and Serial #: 48940948 "Model #: K1000 and Serial #: 8912465 Firms must be authorized, qualified, certified, and experienced in providing this type of service. The vendor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc., for complete On-Site Maintenance Service in conformance with the latest published editions of NFPA-99, OSHA, CDRH, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811310. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email and must be received not later than Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 5:00pm EST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811310. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, proof of applicable certification. DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing, and received not later than Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 5:00pm EST.
