Description
Updated Furniture Inventory This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number F4AT854330AW01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 484210: Used Household and Office Goods Moving. The small business size standard is $27.5 Million. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13. The contractor shall supply all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to move all equipment and furniture moves listed under CLIN 0001 below. This RFQ consists of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN): (See attached specifications). CLIN 0001: 81ST RANGE CONTROL SQ MOVING EXPENSES: Move will consist of predominantly large furniture objects, palleted items, and roughly 100 boxes of equipment. Contractor accepts all liability for damage to government properties and furniture (full replacement value). Liability is waived on items packed by USAF personnel. Move will be completed in two separate stages: Building A move will occur between the dates of 20-21 January 2015, Building B move will occur between the dates of 9-10 February 2015. Site Visit: Prospective contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit on Friday, 12 December at 0830hrs (8:30am). All attendees must notify 325th Contracting Squadron personnel AT LEAST 24 hours in advance of scheduled site visit. Site visit will be limited to no more than 2 representatives from each contractor. Attendees will convene with Tyndall personnel at the Tyndall AFB visitor center on Highway 98 prior to start of site visit. EVALUATION FACTORS: In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factor(s) considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Capability 2. Price Technical Capability: Offeror must meet all of the requirements in the attached statement of work. Lowest price technically acceptable evaluation methods will be used when evaluating offers.
