Description

Redacted Sole Source Justification The Western Area Power Administration (Western) intends to acquire on a sole source basis Remote Terminal Unit (RTU's) spare parts and backup hardware for Loveland Warehouse Stock. GE part numbers being procured are as follows: 572-1406, 580-2004 and 526-2004. The sole source acquisition is being conducted under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. General Electric is the only known source that has access to this equipment. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTES AND A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
