- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 511210. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below. Provide Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center with a Pharmacy Software Program. Program must include several modules in a single on line platform that handles multiple pharmacy functions. The modules must provide the following: Must provide a USP 797 quality system to establish training, risk management and quality assurance practices necessary for a safe and efficient sterile compounding environment. This program must provide all the necessary tracking, training and management oversight to ensure compliance with the rigorous USP 797 standards for sterile compounding. Must provide an online, web based tool that provides checklist management to assist meeting Joint Commission standards for storage of medication in nursing units, clinics and carts. The module must allow for real time reporting and documentation as well as electronic verification to ward or clinic managers documenting compliance. Reporting also identifies trend and monitors compliance. Must provide an online module that is customizable to each facility allowing documentation and monitoring of clinical interventions. The program must also allow providers detailed reports which can identify trends in intervention acceptance and the time spent involved in clinical activities. Potential offerors having the ability to provide the product described are invited to provide a statement via e-mail. The statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Ability to provide the product. Responses are due no later than 1700 EST, Monday, 15 December 2014, and shall be electronically submitted to Tara L. McAdoo at tara.l.mcadoo.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
