- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this sources sought notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide maintenance service for Emptying and Cleaning of Grease traps, septic tanks, and lift pumping stations at Caserma Ederle, Villaggio, ASP #7, and Caserma Del Din. REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide all labor, management, tools, supplies, supervision, and other items or services to perform Emptying and cleaning of Grease Traps, Septic Tanks, and Lift Pumping Stations at Camp Ederel (Vicenza), Villaggio della Pace Housing Area (Vicenza), and Del Din Camp (Vicenza). All work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with all applicable and current U.S. and Host Nation laws and regulations, including but not limited to Italian commercial practice standards and in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The places of performance are: Caserma Carlo Ederle (Vicenza, Italy), Caserma Renato Del Din (Vicenza, Italy), ASP #7, and Villaggio. The Government contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 221320. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1.Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: hazardous waste transportation, environmental safety services, tanks cleaning, solid/liquid refuse disposal, sewage treatments / trasporto rifiuti pericolosi, igiene ambientale, bonifica cisterne, smaltimento rifiuti solido/liquidi, servizio autospurghi. 2.SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. The capability statement package must be sent by email to both SFC Franklin, Carrie, carrie.r.franklin4.mil@mail.mil, and Ms. Sebastiana Cappello, sebastiana.cappello.ln@mail.mil. Submissions of interest must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 12 January 2015.
