- Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to modify an existing Firm Fixed Price with Cost Contract Line Item Numbers contract number W9124R-11-P-1054 with Amaratek located at 10441 Roselle St San Diego, CA, 92121-1546 for Material Analysis Laboratory Services at the United States Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. The Government anticipates negotiating a two-month extension to the current period of performance through February 28, 2015. The potential two-month extension period is necessary to provide for the continuation of essential services in support of the test mission under the direction of the USAYPG pending award of a competitive follow-on long term contract. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541380, Testing Laboratories with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
