Description
DTFAWN-15-R-00022 SOLICITATION for Navigational Aid (NAVAIDS) work to be performed on Runway 25R at the McCarran International Airport (LAS) located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The proposed work for this project includes the following: I. Statement of work: SCOPE OF WORK The work covered under this specification includes the installation of one Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Sequenced Flashers (MALSF), as well as the replacement of the LAS 25R MALSR shelter serving the McCarran International Airport (LAS) 25R MALSR. Note: There will be no demolition work under this contract for the LAS 25R MALSR light bars east of the MALSR light bar #14 except the removal of all above ground MALSR infrastructure. This removed equipment will be taken to LAS SSC for storage. All foundations and underground infrastructure is to remain. Note: The existing LAS 25R MALSR shelter will be demolished under this contract. This includes the foundation, shelter itself, stoop, EES and anything not being reused for the new shelter. Note: The existing shelter door has asbestos. This door is to be disposed of as per the hazardous waste specification and state requirements. Note: The contractor shall acknowledge, coordinate and adjust their construction schedules to accommodate the airport construction milestones. The construction bid shall incorporate these construction constraints as a part of the overall bid. A copy of the LAS airport construction schedule is attached to this solicitation. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials (except Government furnished), services, equipment, insurance, bonds, security notifications, licenses, permits, and fees in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements to complete the specified work. Any miscellaneous labor, equipment and/or materials not specifically detailed or specified, but required to complete the project, shall be provided as an integral part of the work.
