Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract to Tritech Software Systems, located at 9477 Waples St, Ste 100, San Diego, CA 92121-2934, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for maintenance Services and Support (MSS) required for the Quick Response E-9-1-1 system. The period of performance for this contract is for twelve (12) months from date of award. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. This award to Tritech Software Systems is being processed as a sole source due to existing proprietary equipment that only they are responsible for maintaining. Replacement of this equipment would cost the government approximately $500,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
