- The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking sources that can provide Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) repair services at Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA), Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Contractor is to provide all necessary facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, and personnel to perform repair services. Tasks and Deliverables Include: Repair and preventative maintenance for equipment and Building automated systems installed on the arsenal. The HVAC-R equipment on the Arsenal contains a large assortment and many different sizes. Examples would include Window units, PTAC units, Residential split system and package units, Commercial Split system and Package units of up to 150 tons, Ground source heat pumps and related circulating pumps, Variable speed drives, VAV systems, Chillers Range from 5 tons up to 350 ton variable speed centrifugal chillers, Central utility plants contain both chilled water/ hot water equipment and pumping systems and inter locking controls to provide both chilled and hot water to the local air handler units in various buildings thru out the different areas of the Arsenal. Hot water boilers include Lochinvar's high efficiency, Aerco Low nox gas fired boilers, water treatment and control equipment. Steam Generators include Electro-Steam generators and Clayton gas fired steam generators and associated water treatment and control equipment. Building automated systems are Tracer Summit, KMC, Johnson Controls Metasys and related software, hardware and communication devices. A Quality Control Plan to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services is required with submission of quote. Respondents to this Sources Sought announcement should provide the following information: Company name, CAGE Code, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email Address, and business size status relative to NAICS codes: 238220. Respondents must provide, as part of their responses, information concerning each of the project requirements listed above along with: staff experience, including their availability, experience, and training, current in-house capability and capacity to perform the work, prior completed projects of similar nature, corporate experience and management capabilities, examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in the subsequent solicitation, this announcement is Government market research, and may result in revisions to both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses.
