- This a Source sought announcement for market research purposes only, IAW FAR Part 10. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualification of businesses to compete and perform this requirement. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The United States Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, anticipates a requirement for a modification to the existing contract W58RGZ-131-D-0131 with Bell Helicopter Textron (BELL), Fort Worth, Texas to extend the contract for a period of two years to provide engineering services, technical support, and logistics support to the fielded OH-58D aircraft managed by the Armed Scout Helicopter (ASH) Project Office. This extension will also allow for the provision of engineering services to support potential exportable configurations of the OH-58D for various potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Cases. This requirement is planned to be awarded on or before 9 May 2015 as a sole source to Bell as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), quote mark Only one responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark. Interested sources are requested to provide the following information: 1. Company name, CAGE code, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and business size (if small, provide type of small business). 2. Evidence of ability to perform a requirement to support engineering services for the OH-58D platform. 3. Identify your company's status in the Federal Government System for Award Management (SAM). 4. Capability Statement: All responses shall be submitted to the U.S. Army Contracting Command, ATTN: CCAM-ARB/Elaine Cameron, elaine.p.camerom.civ@mail.mil and courtesy copied to Jim Ganoe,, ASH PM, (Acquisition Analyst), james.r.ganoe.ctr@mail.mil. Electronic email responses will be accepted. Your response are required by 1600 CST 6 January 2015. This Sources sought Announcement is not a solicitation for request for proposal. No reimbursement shall be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein or through this announcement to commit or obligate the Government or the responders to further action as a result of this research.
