Description

The VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) San Juan, Puerto Rico intents to solicit an Open Market Small Business contract and the pricing arrangement will be on a Firm-Fixed Price basis to provide full Preventive Maintenance and Repair services for the Zebra Printers located at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan Puerto Rico as well as Mayaquez, Ponce, Guayama, Arecibo Outpatient Clinics and in our VA Warehouse located in Carolina's Puerto Rico. The period of performance for this procurement will be from February 01, 2015 or date of award if later, through January 31, 2016, plus four (4) one (1) year renewal options that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) for this service is estimated to be released on or about 05 January 2015 with a due date of January 21, 2015. Solicitation is being conducted using the policies of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. The RFP VA-248-15-Q-0245 will be advertised as Unrestricted. North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 518210, and the size standards $30.0 Millions. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business providing this type of service will be considered by the agency.
