- The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone, hereby issues this draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government will not accept proposals for this requirement at this time, nor will the Government award any contract based on this draft RFP. Funds are not presently available to support this acquisition. No contract will be awarded until funds are appropriately certified and available. The Government may revise this draft RFP before release of the final RFP for this requirement. The Government plans to acquire, on the basis of full and open competition, Preliminary Design Review (PDR) services in support of the Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP). The purpose of ITEP is to provide increased shaft horsepower, improved fuel consumption, and enhanced maintainability, in accordance with the final RFP and official attachments.
