THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO VETRAN OWNED AND SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The Wilmington VA Medical Center is soliciting bids under Solicitation No. VA244-15-Q-0187 for the following: "to fulfill the requirements for Industrial Heath Specialist and Industrial Health Technician service orders during asbestos abatement activities at the Wilmington, Delaware VAMC located at 1601 Kirkwood HWY, Wilmington, DE 19805. Contractor is to furnish labor and materials and perform work for the VA Medical Center in Wilmington, PA, in accordance the SOW. The Solicitation documents will be available for download from the web https://www.fbo.gov on or about December 22, 2014. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, drawings, and subsequent amendments, if any. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation will NOT be honored. It is essential that interested parties register on the Interested Vendor Listing at https://www.fbo.gov, "Interested Vendor List". Individual copies of the Interested Vendor List WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation amendments issued to the RFQ will be posted to the website and bidders are advised it is their responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all amendments. Paper copies of amendments will NOT be individually mailed. All requests for information or questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via mail or by email: carl.devitz@va.gov no later than Close of Business, December 30, 2014. No telephonic or fax requests will be honored. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract resulting from this solicitation. The contract will be for a base year and four option years. The contract will be a zero dollar award with individual task orders issued to the successful offer as requirements are identified. Offerors must be listed as "verified" in the Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov at the time bids are submitted, and be currently registered including completing online Representations and Certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov. You may register in VIP at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. To complete Representations and Certifications with ORCA, you may go online at https://orca.bpn.gov.
