- The purpose of this amendment is to: a. extend the due date and time for receipt of quotations to 5:00 PM ET on Thursday, January 8, 2015; and b. provide answers to questions from interested parties. SSA may not respond to questions received subsequent to this amendment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration, Region II is publishing this combined synopsis/solicitation notifying interested individuals and small businesses of the attached Request for Quotation for the establishment of approximately two (2) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) in order to, on an as needed basis, produce Verbatim Hearing Recordings for disability hearings for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, San Juan, Puerto Rico hearing site. Individual call orders will be placed against these BPAs. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for Court Reporting and Stenotype Services is 561492, with a small business standard size of $15.0 million. All p! rospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database at www.sam.gov prior to award. All contractors must undergo a security background screening prior to performance of any work under the BPA.
