Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to IHS Global, INC, 15 Inverness Way, East, Englewood, CO 80112-5776 for an annual subscription for Global Insight Cost Planner/Pricing and Purchasing services. The order will provide access to forecasts on material prices, wages and other costs to allow for creation of customized cost escalation indexes for selected business and product lines, as well as general economic analytics support to NAVSEA program offices. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. IHS Global, INC is the only known company which provides the econometric stages-of- processing commodity price and wage rate index forecasts. Their unique methodologies enable the program offices to generate the necessary tailored reports mandatory for NAVSEA's cost estimating support. No other source provides the unique combination of services. This announcement is published for informational purposes only.
