- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract with Access Agility, LLC via single source procedures. AccessAgility implemented a Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) solution and initiated Wireless network deployment based on wireless security recommendations from the Government Accountability Office and the FAA ™s own requirement for a centrally managed Information Systems Security solution capable of enterprise detection and mitigation posed by unauthorized wireless devices. This single source action is for a modification to increase the level of effort and extend the period of performance of the current contract while transition to a competitive follow-on contract is completed. This announcement is for informational purposes only; it is not a Solicitation. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.
