- Product description Ion Vapor Deposition Aluminum Coater Systems Manufacturer (a) AFSC/PZIOA at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia intends to award a contract for the purchase and installation of two (2) Ion Vapor Deposition (IVD) Aluminum Coater Systems in accordance with the attached product description. (Attached product description is a preliminary Draft; final product description will be included with the solicitation) (b) A site visit will be held on 27 Jan 2015 at 1300 EST at Robins AFB, GA (detailed location will be provided upon receipt of information for all attendees) Visitors in attendance will be required to bring Government issued photo ID for access to the installation and their own equipment as needed to take any measurements of the facility (pictures are not allowed) (c) Submit name of all attendees not to exceed two (2) per contractor to SrA Daniela Trujillo, AFSC/PZIOA, Robins AFB, GA, via email at daniela.trujillocastrillo.1@us.af.mil not later than 3:00 EST 20 Jan 2015. The following information must be provided for each attendee in order to ensure access to the installation for the site visit participants. (1) Alphabetized names of each attendee (Last, First, Middle) (2) Date of Birth for each attendee (3) Social Security Number ** This information is secured and will not be released to any persons other than those considered to have a ‘Need to Know' for base security purposes. (d) One-on-one meetings to answer questions or concerns about the acquisition will be scheduled after the site visit for anyone that is interested. One-on-one meetings must be requested with the submission of your company's list of attendees. Those that do not request a one-on-one meeting ahead of time are not guaranteed to get this opportunity. Meetings will be for no more than 10 minutes and will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. One-on-one meetings shall not be used for marketing or sales pitches. All questions, comments, and concerns relating to the acquisition will be sanitized to remove information sensitive to one company and will be posted to the GPE. (e) Emails may be encrypted by first sending a digitally signed email to daniela.trujillocastrillo.1@us.af.mil and request a digitally signed email returned. Once digital certificates are exchanged, encrypted emails may be sent. (f) The solicitation is expected to be released on or around 06 Feb 2015 and will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation will be Full and Open Competition citing NAICS 333994. The anticipated closing date is 06 March 2015. The Government need date is 44 weeks after receipt of award. Contract award is expected to be on or around 03 April 2015. It is anticipated thet Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation will be used to make award. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to attend the site visit or submit a proposal. (g) All prospective offerors shall visit www. fedbizopps.gov to obtain the solicitation, any amendments and/or other information pertaining to this soliciation. Offerors are requested to submit any questions pertaining to the site visit to daniela.trujillocastrillo.1@us.af.mil and mildred.barnett@us.af.mil not later than noon (EST) 23 Jan 2015.
