Description

Solicitation Standard Form 18 SOLICITATION: Provide materials and services necessary to accomplish updates, Boat Repairs and Alterations to two (2) 7 Meter RHIBs and two (2) 7 Meter RHIB trailers on the USS CHANCELLORSVILLE. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 336611. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Inspection location is Boat Lot 3, DLA Receiving yard at Naval Base San Diego. Inspection dates are 12/17/2014 to 1/6/2015. The ship check point of contact is Joe Downie (619)322-3630. The Performance of work will be at the contractor's facility. Award will be made based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Offerors will be required to have a SWRMC approved Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with NAVSEA standard item 009-04 in place prior to contract award. The QMS is required to be submitted to the Government prior to the solicitation's closing date and time to demonstrate the offeror's capability to be fully compliant with contract performance requirements and to satisfy the Government's determination of contractor responsibility. Offerors are strongly encouraged to submit the QMS as soon as possible to give the SWRMC Quality Assurance Department ample time to review and approve the QMS to ensure no delay in contractor eligibility.
