Description

1.PURPOSE: This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (small business or other than small business). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation may follow under FAR 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate offers or proposals. All interested and qualified offerors will be required to respond to the actual solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office is seeking sources to provide preventive maintenance for a Biosense Webster Carto 3 RF Generator located at VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. 2.HOW TO RESPOND: If you are qualified and capable to provide the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. a.Interested parties must submit an unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) demonstrating capability of services required and whether they can provide these services under GSA schedule or open market. The SOC must include the following: business name, point of contact name, telephone, email address, DUNS number, GSA contract if applicable. Please also identify whether your company is a (1) large business, (2) small disadvantaged business, (2) woman-owned small business, (3) certified Veteran or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. b.Submit all responses not later than 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on January 5, 2015 to the attention of Mr. Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with "Interested Contractor - Preventive Maintenance for Biosense Webster Carto 3 RF" on the subject line. Telephone responses shall NOT be accepted. 3.DISCLAIMER: A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date pursuant to FAR 13 - SAP, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought announcement. Responses to this sources sought notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
