Greetings, We would like to thank everyone for his/her interest in this event. Happy New Year Small Business Event / ​USAID Africa Bureau Small Business Industry Day The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Africa (Africa Bureau) and the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will host the third Small Business Industry Day seminar on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Arlington, Virginia. The purpose of this outreach seminar is to offer U.S.-based small businesses the opportunity to learn more about the USAID procurement process and the Bureau for Africa’s programming priorities and procurement needs for headquarters and the overseas missions (field offices). The deadline for pre-registering is January 5, 2015, or when the maximum number of eligible pre-registrants is reached. A firm may pre-register for this seminar if it is interested in partnering with USAID, if it is registered in the System for Award Management database ( www.sam.gov ), and if it is in good standing with the U.S. Government. Please be sure to include the name of the one (1) person who would represent your firm. Small businesses that pre-register will then be notified of their registration status. Firms invited to attend the event will receive details about the location of the seminar, and they will be asked to submit their capability statements. In order to pre-register for the seminar, please provide the information requested in the pre-registration form (see link (URL) below). Due to seating limitations, participation this seminar will be limited to approximately 50 representatives of U.S.-based small businesses. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
