Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound VA Healthcare System in Seattle, Washington, intends to solicit proposals for full service maintenance and repair for the Dornoch fluid waste management systems located at the Seattle VA Medical Center. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA260-15-Q-0182. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 - Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $20.5 Million. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. 3. The intended contract period is a base year plus four (4) one-year option years. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is January 6, 2015, and the anticipated closing date is January 15, 2015. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (811219) is included in the profile prior to submission of quotations.
