Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) FIRMS. The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract for Project No. 667-082 Construct Parking Garage, Shreveport, Louisiana. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to construct a 4-level parking garage, 427 space, south of the main hospital (Building #1), Overton Brooks VAMC, Shreveport, LA. The new parking garage shall include a 2-car traction elevator, lighting, security cameras, paving, pavement markings, signage/way-finding, drainage, landscaping, infrastructure improvement, utility relocations and supporting utilities. All work shall be in accordance with the applicable federal, state and local code and be performed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications The price range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The solicitation documents are tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around January 9, 2015. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be available. The tentative date for opening of bids is February 12, 2015, so as to allow a reasonable time to address questions from any prospective bidder that requests an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc. Performance period is 300 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $36.5M. All interested SDVOSB firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, must be registered and verified as a SDVOSB at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must have a current VETS-100 report on file at www.dol.gov/vets/programs/fcp/main.htm.
