Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center in Jacksonville (FLCJ) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing all the necessary materials, labor, supplies, equipment, and personnel to repair the Propeller Bearing Assembly for a Trident Class submarine, in accordance with the attached specifications, for the Trident Refit Facility (TRF) at the Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or around Friday, 9 January 2015. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this requirement no later than 2:00PM (Eastern Standard Time), Thursday, 8 January 2015, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The Government is executing this announcement as an urgent and compelling requirement. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the RFI. Interested vendors should submit all capability statements via e-mail to Michael.adorno@navy.mil.
