Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 9, intends to award a sole-source base plus four contract to HillRom Inc, 1069 State RTE 46 E Batesville, IN 47006-9167 for an annual preventive maintenance, providing labor, materials, travel and monthly preventative maintenance inspections for 80 overhead patient lifts. These lifts are located at the Louisville VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY. HillRom/Liko is the proprietary vendor and sole distributor of Liko overhead patient bed lifts. Only engineers trained and certified by HillRom are authorized to service Liko overhead lifts. This notice is informational only and is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of proposals. Responses received may be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must be detailed information and must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the agency's needs.
