Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office-8, in support of Bruce W. Carter Veterans Affairs Medical Center anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Bruce W. Carter Veterans Affairs Medical Center is soliciting Request For Quotes (RFQ's) VA248-15-Q-0224 for REAL-TIME PCR MOLECULAR TESTING SYSTEM CPT to be performed in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS code) 325416 applies along with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to make a single award with a period of performance from date of award for a full year plus four (4) one (1) year pre-priced option years. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be issued on/about January 8, 2015 and will be issued via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) electronic posting system.. All information for this solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential bidders MUST register at FedBizOpps www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps website. All interested parties MUST be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) AT https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Vendors are reminded that representatives from their company SHALL NOT contact any Miami VAHCS personnel to discuss this RFQ during this solicitation process. All questions and concerns regarding this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Specialist. No web based proposals or faxes will be accepted.
