- Award: N39040-15-P-0094 Date: 1/8/2015 Awardee: Nationwide Boiler Amount: $22,900.00 Potential Amount: $32,900.00 if all options are exercised ******************* SPECIFICATIONS from Award: Mobile Steam Boiler Unit DELIVER TO: Point Loma Sub Base, San Diego, CA All contractor personnel requiring access to a government facility must be American citizens and shall provide proof of such before access is allowed. Allow time for security checks. Unit transportation to and from the site at Submarine base San Diego. One (1) Rental Mobile Steam Boiler** as a self‐contained mobile package that is capable of generating "saturated steam" at less than 150 PSIG, or controlled at/below 150 PSIG. Unit shall be capable of providing 600,000 BTU/HR. Package should include a No. 2 oil burner and burner management system that is capable of burning "ultra‐low sulfur transportation diesel oil". Unit may burn alternate fuel but vendor must provide fuel in such case. Mobile package should contain a steam boiler, boiler feed water system/ pump, a condensate return collection system, 300 feet of steam and condensate hoses rated for the full capacity and the greatest boiler outlet pressure for both the steam supply and the condensate return systems. On‐board double walled fuel oil tank, Electric power supply panel and breakers rated for the capacity of the onboard burner and burner management system, including the power demands of the boiler feed pump. Technical rep to explain/train and set‐up and assist the government in hooking up the boiler steam hoses to our equipment. Emergent technical assistance phone number and reasonable response time (12 hours or less) for technical assistance in case of improper operation of vendor's equipment. Any required boiler chemical treatment. Any and all required State approved safety features (i.e. safety pressure relief valves, low water cutout, over pressure protection, flame out sensors) State of California certification. User will provide: 1) Any Electric power demands required including 110/220/208/440etc 2) Ultra‐low sulfur diesel transportation fuel. 3) Operators. 4) Notification to State of California air emissions compliance division of anticipated unit operation. 5) Security Escort for entrance on to the Submarine Base for drop‐off and pick‐up on the submarine Lower Base. **If industry is unable to provide one (1) self-contained unit 600,000 BTU/HR the vendor may have the option to provide two (2) units at 300,000 BTU/HR upon engineering review.
