Description

The NAVSUP Fleet and Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD), Contracting Department is announcing its intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. Non-commercial procedures will be used. The Government intends to award the proposed contract action to ANASPHERE, Inc., 106 Pronghorn Trail Bozeman, MT 59718. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for developing a system for atmospheric measurement called Aerostat High-rate Atmospheric Measurement System (AHAMS). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any interested contractor capable of providing this requirement is invited to submit a written notification to the Contract Specialist within FIFTEEN (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document exists.
