- Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price sole source purchase order to STANLEY CONVERGENT SECURITY SOLUTIONS, INC. - 55 Shuman BLVD ST 900, Naperville, IL 60563-0000, United States, for the purchase of Maintenance Agreement and Access Control for one year IAW the Statement of Work (see attached Statement of Work BLDG 422 Access and Camera Maintenance 2015). Period of Performance attentive date is 21 January 2015 - 20 January 2016. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to proprietary ownership of requested items and no other sources will be able to accurately satisfy agency requirements. This is due to B.A.S.I.S. ET Version 692 Lenel/On-Guard suite of security solutions is proprietary to Stanley Security Solutions. Stanley Security Solutions is the only authorized and qualified technical provider for software upgrades and support, system service and maintenance and provides a client accessible Technical Assistance Center. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621- Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) With a size standard of $20.5M.
