- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Twenty (20) Continuous Thermal Monitoring (CTM) system ship sets. One CTMS system contains: One (1)--Advanced Data Acquisition & Control System (ADACS) DRS P/N-07030000-4; Eleven (11)-Universal Sensor Interface Modules (USIMs) DRS P/N-07030700-5; Thirty-eight(38)-Thermal Ionization Detectors (TIDs) with 25 foot pigtails, DRS P/N-07030620-3; Six(6)-Network Stub Assemblies DRS P/N-07030421-1; and Twenty-one(21)-Analog Sensor Cables DRS P/N-07030417-27. The purchase will be made over a five (5) year period to DRS Technologies located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation.. However, all proposals received prior to January 29, 2014 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
