- Statement of Work This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis annoucement; issued for market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The U.S. General Services Administration - Public Buildings Service - Region 4 - Acquisition Management Division - Small Projects Branch has been tasked to solicit for award a project for the replacement of a security gate at the George C. Young Federal Building and Courthouse located in Orlando, FL. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to solicit interest, capabilities and qualifications of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned, Hubzone, to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The tyoe of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Please see the attached Statement of Work for further project requirements. II. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Experience on similar projects is required for submitting a response under the sources sought. Similar is defined as new construction, repair, alteration, or modernization of federally owned or federally leased government buildings and/or courthouses. SUBMISSION SHALL BE LIMITED TO TWO (2) SINGLE SIDED PAGES AND SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATON: CONTACT INFORMATION: Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and E-mail Address BUSINESS TYPE: Indicate business type CAPABILITIES STATEMENT : Include capability to execute "similar." Provide at least three (3) projects performed within the past five (5) years. BONDING CAPACITY : Construction bonding level per contract and aggregate bonding level, both expressed in dollars. III. SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND METHOD: Interested Offerors shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 2:00 PM (EST) January 28,2015. All interested contractors must be registerted in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/sam to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Responses shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to Yolanda Collins, Contracting Specialist at yolanda.collins@gsa.gov. Oral communications, telecommunications and faxed inquiries ot comments are NOT acceptable as response to this notice. Only e-mail responses will be acceptable.
