Price range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, Western Service Area, is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Small Business vendors to perform an elevator upgrade at the Yakima, Washington Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) The NAICS Code for this is: 236220 Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a size standard of $33.5 million. Work includes, but is not limited to: 1)Removing the existing Otis elevator control system 2)Removing the existing motor and gearbox assembly 3)Removing the existing hoist way ropes 4)Removing the existing elevator door operator 5)Removing the existing door latches and retiring cam 6)Removing the existing car operating panel 7)Removing the existing hall call stations 8)Removing the existing car top inspectors station 9)Removing the existing seismic switch 10)Removing the existing over speed governor, tension sheave, and rope 11)Removing the existing traveling cables 12)Removing the existing hoist way wiring 13)Removing the existing hoist way access at the top and bottom landings 14)Remove car carpet 15)Furnish and install one new microprocessor based programmable traction elevator controller 16)Furnish and install a new geared traction machine 17)Furnish and install new hoist way ropes 18)Furnish and install a new overs peed governor, tension sheave, and rope 19)Furnish and install a new unintended car movement device (a.k.a. rope gripper) 20)Furnish and install a fan/light inside the car 21)Furnish and install a new seismic switch 22)Furnish and install new hoist way wiring and a new traveling cable 23)Furnish and install a new door operator 24)Furnish and install a new landing system 25)Furnish and install a new car top inspectors station 26)Furnish and install new hoist way door latches and retiring cam 27)Furnish and install a new car operating panel 28)Furnish and install new hall surface mounted hall call station, digital position indicators and lantern combination 29)Furnish and install all wiring and components required to connect up to the existing fire alarm control panel. 30)Furnish and install a new main line fused disconnect switch 31)Furnish and install a new elevator controller circuit breaker 32)Furnish and install a new car power disconnect switch 33)Furnish and install all electrical conduit and wiring, as necessary 34)Furnish a fan/light inside the cab ceiling. 35)Repaint inside of existing car, install vinyl floor tiles, and provide 6 spare tiles min. 36)Perform required testing after modernization is complete and witnessed by 3rd party ASME QEI-1 Inspector Please submit the attached Business Declaration Form along with proof of 8(a) or SDVOSB status, if applicable.
