Description

Under Statutory Authority 38 U.S.C. - §8127- §8128 (Sections 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461), FAR 6.302-5(b), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) vendor Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. of Flower Mound, TX for pharmacy benefits management services to include prescription fill and dispensing services. These services are needed for six months with the option to extend services for an additional six months. These services are critical for patient care and are required for VISN 12's Sothern Tier Community-Based Outpatient Clinics which are associated with the following parent VA facilities: Edward Hines VAH and James Lovell Federal Health Care Center. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-5(b) and VAAR 819.7007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice may be received no later than 4:00 PM EST January 16, 2015. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document is available. Future issuance of a competitive solicitation for these services is anticipated within the next six to twelve months
