- SOURCES SOUGHT / MARKET RESEARCH Lodging for Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington Thank you for taking the time to assist us in gathering this information! Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, is currently conducting preliminary planning market research to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing Lodging services for the Directorate of Public Works. The anticipated period of performance is 1 January 2016 through 31 December 2017 with the possibility of four one-year option periods. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation that will result in the award of multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, labor, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform long term on and/or off base lodging services in the vicinity of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The vicinity is described as 14 miles North and 21 miles South of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Main Gate. The Main Gate is located at Exit 120, off I-5. The Government has posted a DRAFT Performance Work Statement with this announcement. The Government will not publish responses outside the MICC-JBLM Office but use them as a tool for a possible upcoming acquisition. The tentative North American Industry Classification System code selected for this acquisition is 721110 Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels with a small business size of $32.5 million per annum. Responses shall include the following: 1. Company's full name, address, telephone number, and point of contact with email address. 2. Company's DUNS number and CAGE code. 3. A statement indicating the company's size: small or large; and social economic status (including veteran-owned small, service-disabled veteran-owned small, HUBZone small, small disadvantaged, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small, and woman-owned small eligible under the Woman-Owned Small Business Program). 4. A brief capability statement (no more than two pages) that demonstrates the ability to meet the requirement of the services as described above. The statement shall include the company's interest in and ability to propose quality and safe lodging. DISCLAIMER: (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this Sources Sought/Market Research or otherwise pay for the information solicited. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. (b) Although the Government uses quote mark proposal quote mark and quote mark offeror quote mark in this Sources Sought/Market Research, the Government will treat your response as information only. The Government will not use your response as a proposal. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time and a solicitation is not currently available. (c) The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to conduct preliminary planning market research to determine the availability of Lodging Services within the described vicinity of Joint Base Lewis-McChord Washington. (d) The Contracting Officer will determine what information, if any, gained from this questionnaire, it will use in the acquisition process. This is a request for information notice only used to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. The Government may use responses to this request to determine how the Government may state the requirement or conduct the procurement. The reader of this announcement shall not conclude this announcement as a commitment, implied or otherwise, by the Government to issue a solicitation or to award a contract.
