Description

This announcement is to provide notice that the Department of Veteran Affairs, West Haven, CT intends to award a sole source procurement to InGenious Targeting Laboratory for the procurement of genetically modified research models designed to examine the molecular mechanisms responsible for the onset and persistence of small fiber neuropathy (SFN). Since many veterans suffer from SFN, these studies are critically important to the mission of the VA. The award is based upon a valid Sole Source Justification and FAR 6.032-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Anticipated vendor for award and contract information is as follows: InGenious Targeting Laboratory, 2200 Smithtown Avenue, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779; DUNS 090325197. This is a special notice only and is NOT a solicitation. However the government will consider responses submitted on or before 5:00 PM EST Jan 20, 2014. Submit to Carl Langer, Contract Officer, carl.langer@va.gov. All communication, including questions, must be in by email. Any response must provide clear and concise documentation supporting an offerors' bona fide capability to provide these items. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive requirement is in the best interest of the government.
