- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR COMMERCIAL PRICELIST OR PRICE SUPPORT ALONG WITH YOUR COMPANY'S CAGE CODE, TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND DUNS NUMBER. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-15-T-0081 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to Oxford Instruments, Concord, MA 01742, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) for soliciting from a single source in that the circumstances of the contract action make only one source reasonably available. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 334516.The Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote for the purchase AZtecEngery Advanced package for Existing System. A comprehensive Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis system including all the tools required to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, image capture, image centric analysis and X-ray spectral mapping and line scanning. INCA X-Max Upgrade installation and software familiarization to include: One (1) each: 51U1003 AZtecEnergy Advanced Package for Existing System One (1) each: 51D1006 X-MaxN 80 Large Area Analytical Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) with PentaFET Precision One (1) each: 51A1027 AZtec Map Queue One (1) each: 51A1026 AZtec Image Registration One (1) each: 51A1025 AZtec Large Area Mapping One (1) each: 51H1004 AZtec AUTO PC (Win 7) - includes 1394 firewire card One (1) each: Z003 On-site Application Training One (1) each: One year warranty including parts and labor One (1) each: Discount Trade-In. The proposed contractor, Oxford Instruments America, Inc. is the only vendor whose hardware can meet the performance requirements of the existing system while also guaranteeing seamless integration. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.
