Description

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) and negotiate a new procurement modification under existing contract N00030-14-C-0005 on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield MA. This procurement will fulfill requirements for U.S. Stategic Weapon System Support identified in Class Justifiaction and Approval Nosp 15,640. The procurement is for Fire Control Guidance Interface Simplification (FGIS) software to be deliverred in conjuction with software upgrades under contract to GDAIS An Award Notice will be publicized, when applicable, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.301, 5.303, and 6.305 under separate notice. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by GDAIS under Contract N00030-14-C-0005, which was awarded 16 Dember 2013 using other than full and open competition.
