Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice for VA261-15-R-0212 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 intends to post Solicitation VA261-15-R-0212 to seek potential vendors with the skills, capabilities, and experience necessary to perform maintenance on Qiagen products listed below for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Due to the criticality of the equipment, the contractor shall have the capability to obtain Qiagen repair parts. The solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. Small and Large Businesses are encourage to submit a bid/proposal. The Contractor shall the capability to obtain repair parts from Qiagen and perform maintenance on Qiagen products: DescriptionModel #Manufacturer QIAsymphony SP14941Qiagen QIAxcel Advanced15119Qiagen BIOROBOT Universal Platform15008Qiagen QIAgility HEPA / UV 5401Qiagen (includes Laptop) The Contractor shall furnish an experienced technician, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation and resources necessary to provide annual and emergency maintenance and repair services of the four Qiagen products. The Period of Performance will be a Base Year and possible four Option Years. Start date is anticipated to begin on or about April 1, 2015. The NAICS is 811219 and the small business size standard is $20.5 million. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Leala.Jew@va.gov Interested firms should download the solicitation documents and attachments and submit their proposal by the due date and time indicated on the solicitation SF1449 item 8.
