Description
MARKET SURVEY/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing all activities involving the removal, disposal and replacement of tower cab carpeting at the Pontic tower located at Oakland County International Airport in Waterford, MI. The FAA is conducting this Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. Please see the attached Draft SOW and other supporting documentation for additional information and preliminary requirements. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this market survey/RFI. Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational sessions is not a promise of future business with the FAA. All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead and include a synopsis describing previous projects of similar complexity as well as a copy of the completed business declaration (see attached). Vendors should identify other projects successfully completed to demonstrate the contractors ability to perform this project. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, 30 January 2015. Market survey responses received after the time and date specified will be determined to be late and may not be considered.
