Description

Department of Veterans Affairs 7305 N. Military Trail West Palm Beach FL 33410 Laboratory Reference Tests Notice Award, Option and of Intent The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL awarded an urgent and compelling order against a VA NAC contract in order to prevent a stoppage of laboratory reference tests. The previous VISN BPA ended unbeknownst to the undersigned due to a miscommunication of the ending date of the VA NAC contract vs the VISN BPA. Therefore, a short term order was utilized with a period of performance for two months with an option for two additional months utilized herein by this notice. Furthermore, the intent is to process a Limited Sources Justification, which will be posted on approval, prior to the end date of the current order ending 31 Jan 2015 for a period of coverage until the new VISN BPA is in place with an expected time frame of the 3rd quarter FY15.. The value of this current order is an estimated $150,000.00 for the base and $150,000.00 for the option. The awardee is Quest Diagnostics, 14225 Newbrook Dr, Chantilly, VA 20151.
