Description

This is a Source Sought Notice only. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quotes, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set aside for small businesses. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20) is specifically seeking Small Businesses (SB) with experience, personnel and capabilities to perform complete solid waste removal and disposal services at the Portland VA Medical Center (PVAMC). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide solid waste removal and disposal services. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price with a 1 year base period and four (1) one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562111 with a size standard of $38,500,000.00. The Government anticipants a Firm-Fixed Price Contract and the anticipated solicitation date is To Be Announced (TBA). IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interested sources should email Contract Specialist, Kelleen Minor at Kelleen.minor@va.gov no later than 29 Jan 2015 (4:30 p.m. MST). Responses must include the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, e-mail and DUNS number and CAGE Code of the firm. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
