- RFQ MX Repair of Six Cleaning Tanks SOW MX Repair of Six Cleaning Tanks This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 & 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); solicitation/reference number is F1N2E14297AQ01. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business set aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The business size standard is $7.5M. Columbus Air Force Base has a need to repair six RAMCO 500 gallon chemical cleaning tanks for the aircraft maintenance function located in Building 218 at Columbus AFB, MS. These tanks are used by aircraft maintenance personnel to clean large quantities of J-85 engine and accessory parts per Technical Order 2J-1-13, Cleaning of Gas Turbine Engines and Associated Parts. Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall provide all management, labor, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and other items necessary to repair the six cleaning tanks in accordance with the attached Statement of Work(SOW) dated 15 Jan 15. FOB: Destination, delivered to/performance at Columbus AFB, MS 39710. There will be a site visit conducted for this requirement at Columbus AFB, Welding Shop, Building 218 Columbus, MS on January 23, 2015 at 10:00am CST. All attendees must be United States Citizens and must register at the Visitor Center office prior to entry onto the base. Visitors to the base must bring driver's license, car registration, and proof of insurance in order to obtain access to the installation. All attendees must contact Amy Davis at amy.davis.18@us.af.mil by 1:00 pm CST, 22 Jan 15 to confirm that they will be attending the site visit. Late attendees will not be accepted. You will be directed to the Welding Shop, Building 218, at the Visitor Center. EVALUATION CRITERIA: 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria in 52.212-2 paragraph (a) are as follows: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: TECHNICAL CAPABILITY- All offers will be reviewed to ensure that they are capable of completing the service in accordance with the attached Statement of Work dated 15 January 15. PRICE-The price proposed will be included as part of the evaluation. Award will be made in the aggregate, all or none. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions.
