Description
Synopsis for Keysight Technologies Power Meters and Power Sensors The William J. Hughes Technical Center “ Atlantic City, NJ intends to procure the Keysight Technologies (formerly Agilent) equipment provided in the attachment to this synopsis. This equipment will be acquired under a limited source competitive procurement for Keysight Technologies brand equipment. The solicitation will be open to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and all authorized resellers of Keysight Technologies equipment only. The Keysight Technologies brand equipment identified above is part of the ASR-9 system and provides certification data to ensure the radar is performing within established parameters for VSWR, forward/reverse power, and pulse width as outlined in the technical instruction (TI) book, 6310.19b, ASR-9 Maintenance Handbook. The existing ASR-9 system is currently equipped and tested with Keysight Technologies equipment. Due to the current architecture and design of the existing ASR-9 system, Keysight Technologies equipment is the only replacement equipment that will be compatible. The Keysight Technologies equipment and accessories are only interchangeable among other Keysight Technologies equipment and will not interface with other brand equipment. This will be a commercial item procurement to provide the AJW-146 program - William J. Hughes Technical Center “ Atlantic City, NJ with the above stated equipment. As a result of the solicitation, William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to award one fixed price two (2) year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Award will be based on a determination of śLowest Price Technically Acceptable ť. It is mandatory for offerors to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The SAM provides the DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System + 4 number) and the company ™s CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code that will be required to conduct business with the FAA. The solicitation and applicable attachments will be sent directly to the OEM and authorized resellers upon closing of this synopsis on or about 29 January 2015. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors.
