Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-79, dated December 15, 2014. Solicitation VA262-15-Q-0337 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award with a base year and up to four (4) option years. This procurement will be issued under as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code is 811219 and size standard is $20.5 million. The Government is seeking a Contractor that can perform on-site calibration services of radiation detection equipment. The calibration services will occur twice a year, with the first calibration occurring in February and the second calibration to occur in August. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and qualified personnel to perform the requested services. The Contractor shall also comply with all laws, policies, and/or regulations as required by local, state, and Federal agencies. Please see the attached "inventory equipment list" of all current equipment, the list may change throughout performance of the contract to remove or add equipment as necessary. See attached SF 1449 Solicitation for statement of work (SOW), inventory equipment list, and other pertinent information. Place of performances: VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center (VAGLAHS), 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process and award will be made to the offeror who conforms to the solicitation and represents best value to the Government.
