- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION NO. R15PS00295 - SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE UNIFORM Purpose: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the Service and Administrative Uniform Program of the Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR). Authority: DOI-BOR is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices. Description: DOI-BOR requires Contractor to procure, warehouse, and distribute of uniform items to various location throughout the US. Place of Performance: DOI-BOR, Denver Office, Pacific Northwest Region, Mid-Pacific Region, Lower Colorado Region, Upper Colorado Region, Great Plains Region, and the Commissioner's Office, Washington, DC. Sole Source/Competitive Acquisition: This will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for small business participation. Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Fee. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technical acceptable offer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 448190, the Small Business Size Standard at 20.5 Millions. Interested vendors must register for NAICS code 448190 prior to award. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 13. Period of Performance: This acquisition contains 5 years, with anticipate start date of June 2015. Release Date of the Solicitation: It is anticipated for Solicitation No. R15PS00295 to be released on or about January 27, 2015. Should complications arise resulting in a delay in the release of the solicitation, the Contracting Officer will provide an update through FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://www.sam.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well.
